Engineered structural lumber for heavy loads and dimensional stability.
Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) is a structural product made by bonding thin wood veneers, offering high strength, consistent quality, and excellent dimensional stability. It is well suited to structural plans that require precision fabrication and heavy load capacity, and is widely used in beam, column, and panel systems for large-scale projects.
Logs are processed into thin lamellas or members, then laminated and bonded with precise control over fiber direction and grade. This process distributes defects and stress concentrations, significantly improving structural stability and dimensional accuracy compared with solid timber.
Thickness, layup, and connection details vary by required performance, and the optimal combination is reviewed at the design stage based on the project's span, loading, and exposure conditions.
